INDUSTRIAL AND CORPORATE MEDICAL COVER CONTRACTS
Rescue Medics (UK) Ltd can provide all levels of medical support services for a wide range of projects including industrial, construction, engineering & Civil engineering, surveying & structural and design works and projects.
We can provide on-site medical support including dedicated medical professionals, vehicles, equipment and medical supplies to an extensive range of environments and engagements.
Our range of services includes:
- Establishment of a medical care facility – this can be prepared and equipped according to the requirements of the contract. For example:
- the supply of on-call medical personnel for on-site injuries, accidents and medical concerns;
- the supply of services required for on-site drug and alcohol testing;
- the supply of services required for fitness for work examinations and assessments;
- the supply of services required for health surveillance examinations and assessments;
- the supply of scheduled programmes of health, wellbeing and welfare activities for workforce;
- Full time or on-call professional medical personnel – for example: State registered paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), nurses etc.
- Treat minor and major injuries and recommend further care if needed
- Stock and maintain site specific first aid kits
- Focused patient evaluation to determine appropriate level of care
- Participation in site safety meetings, programs and briefings etc.
- On-site drug and alcohol testing if needed
- Coordinate care with local facilities and local emergency response agencies
- Provide CPR, First Aid, and other mandatory trainings to workers, supervisors and management staff
- Support the coordination of medical evacuations from worksite if necessary

Our medical support staff are trained and experienced in working in a wide range of inhospitable or hostile environments and remote or inaccessible locations, such as confined spaces, working at height or extreme weather conditions.
One of our recent clients includes J Murphy & Sons/Land & Marine, the principal contractor for an infrastructure inspection and detailed structural analysis of the Haweswater Aqueduct for United Utilities. This contract included our provision of 24 hour occupational health and rescue and medical services, including dedicated medical professionals, ambulances and equipment for a core of skilled technical personnel at six key sites/entrances to the aqueduct on a rolling 24 hour basis for 16 continuous days.
We are currently contracted to provide medical support services, including ambulances, personnel and equipment to a remote windfarm construction site for Scottish and Southern Energy. We have been engaged on similar projects before and employ paramedics providing day to day health care and medical support for the construction team on-site.
We are able to work closely in collaboration with all of the various agencies involved within the scheme to carefully plan and implement a complete package of medical support services. We are also able to understand and appreciate the process of both large and small scale projects and are able deliver services on-time, to strict deadlines and work to key performance indicators.
